A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPlING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ETHEL POTTBERG, who acquired
tit1e as Ethel H. McCartv.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
p1lh 1;,. nt-of 1; t:y purposes.
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the East half of the Northeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 14, Township 4
South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on
a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of that certain State
Highway commonly known as Beach Boulevard (formerly known as
Stanton Avenue) and Orange Avenue, as shown on a Map filed in
Book 42, page 43 of Record of Surveys in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County; thence South 00 10' 15"
East along the centerline of said Beach Boulevard a distance
of 70.27 feet; thence South 890 49' 45" West a distance of 40
feet to the beginning of a curve concave Southwesterly and
having a radius of 25 feet, a radial line bearing North 890
49' 45" East passes through the point of beginning of said
curve; thence Northerly and Westerly along said curve through
a central angle of 900 14' 07" an arc distance of 39.37 feet
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 45 feet
Southerly as measured at right angles from the centerline of
said Orange Avenue; thence South 890 35' 38" West along said
parallel line a distance of 597.53 feet; thence North 00 24'
22" lvest a distance of 45 feet to an intersection with the
centerline of said Orange Avenue; thence North 890 35' 38"
East along the centerline of said Orange Avenue to the point
of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
