69R-047WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public convenience and necessity require the purchase and acquisi-
tion of sound system components for use by the Anaheim Convention
Center; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that the
specifications prepared and submitted to the City Council by the
Department of Public Works for said sound system components are
adequate for the purpose and should be approved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
a notice should be published inviting sealed proposals for the
furnishing of said sound system components in accordance with the
specifications prepared by said Department of Public Works and
herein. approved

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said sound system components hereinafter
specified shall conform to the specifications therefor prepared by
the Department of Public Works of the City of Anaheim and hereby
approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there shall be purchased for
the Anaheim Convention Center sound system components, in the quanti-
ties and sVies,etc., as set forth in the specifications, as follows:
Sound system components for the Anaheim Convention
Center, 800 West Katella Avenue, in the City of
Anaheim, consisting of speakers, amplifers, micro-
phones, earphones, switches, wire, turntable with
changer, receptacles, plugs, tape recorder and all
other materials as set forth in the bid proposal and
specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk
or City Engineer, Work Order No. 338.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice in
the Anaheim Bulletin, in the manner and form as required by law
inviting sealed proposals for the furnishing of said sound system
components above described, and directing that said sealed pro-
posals will be received at the Office of the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim up to the hour of 2:00 P.M. on the 13th day of
February, 1969.
