A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SOICHIRO HORI and
CHIKAKO HORI, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Westerly 53 feet, as measured at
right angles to the centerline of Kraemer Boulevard, formerly
known as Dowling Avenue, and the Southerly 32 feet, as measured
at right angles to the centerline of La Jolla Street, of that
parcel of land described as follows:
Lot 4 in Block 4 of the Golden State Tract as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, California.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Southerly 32 feet, as measured at
right angles to the centerline of La Jolla Street, of that
parcel of land described as follows:
The Westerly half of Lot 3, Block 4 of the Golden State Tract,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
PARCEL THREE: An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lot 4 in Block 4 of
the Golden State Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4,
pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Kraemer Boulevard,
formerly known as Dowling Avenue, and La Jolla Street; thence
North 73° 10' 43" East along the centerline of said La Jolla
Street a distance of 78.02 feet; thence North 16° 49' 17" West
a distance of 32 feet to the beginning of a curve concave North-
easterly and having a radius of 25 feet, a radial line bearing
South 16° 49' 17" East passes through the point of beginning
of said curve; thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve
through a central angle of 90° 01' 10" an arc distance of
39.28 feet; thence South 73° 11' 53" West a distance of 53 feet
to the centerline of said Kraemer Boulevard; thence South 16°
48' 07" East a distance of 57.02 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of January 1969.
