A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of ,purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
NEW ENGLAND MUTUAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY.
a Massachusetts corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of the North half
of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter
of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in
the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 23, said Northeast corner
being the intersection of the centerline of State
College Boulevard and Ball Road; thence South 0° 16'
05" East along the centerline of State College Boule-
vard, 660.78 feet; thence South 89° 43' 55" West
53.00 feet; thence North 0° 16' 05" West 583.06 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve concave South-
westerly having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence
Northerly and Westerly along said curve through a
central angle of 89° 47' 27" an arc distance of 39.18
feet; thence South 89° 56' 28" West 577.18 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly
having a radius of 15 feet; thence Westerly and
Southerly along said curve through a central angle of
90° 00' 00" an arc distance of 23.56 feet; thence
South 0° 03' 32" East 310.24 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Easterly having a radius of
50.00 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along said
curve through a central angle of 36° 52' 12" an arc
distance of 32.18 feet to the beginning of a reverse

beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly
having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Northerly and
Westerly along said curve through a central angle of
90 00' 00" an arc distance of 23.56 feet; thence
South 89° 56' 28" West 232.81 feet; thence North
0° 03' 32" West 53.00 feet to the intersection with
the Northerly line of said Section 23, said Northerly
line also being the centerline of Ball Road; thence
North 89° 56' 28" East along the last mentioned line
977.71 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the
City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
