A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC STREET
AND UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
street and utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and, convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY,
a corporation of the State of Delaware
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
public street and utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
A parcel of land situate in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, in the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.M. in
the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana as shown on a
map recorded in Book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the Recorder of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, being also a portion of that certain real prop-
erty conveyed to the Brunswick Corporation by the deed
recorded on July 24, 1962 in Book 6187, page 607 of
Official Records, in the Office of the Recorder of said
County, being also a portion of Parcel 1 and Parcel 2,
as shown on that certain map recorded on March 6, 1967
in Book 6, page 44 of Parcel Maps, in the office of said
Recorder, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of the above des-
cribed Parcel 1, said point being distant S. 0° 13' 45"
E. 47.00 feet from the most Westerly corner of the afore-
said Parcel 1, last said point being also the beginning
of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a
radius of 15 feet; thence along the arc of said curve
through a central angle of 90° 00' 00" a distance of
23.56 feet to its point of tangency in a line parallel
with and distant Southerly 32.00 feet, measured at right
angles, from the South line of the above described deed,
shown on said Parcel Map as having a bearing of N. 89°
46' 15" E. thence along said parallel line N. 89° 46' 15"
E. a distance of 961.37 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Southerly and having a radius of

50.00 feet; thence Easterly and Southeasterly along the
arc of said curve through a central angle of 34° 54' 55"
a distance of 30.47 feet, to the point of beginning of
a reverse curve concave Westerly and also having a radius
of 50.00 feet; thence along the arc of said reverse curve
through a central angle of 249 49' 50" a distance of
218.02 feet to the point of beginning of a reverse curve
concave Northwesterly and also having a radius of 50.00
feet; thence Southwesterly along the arc of last said
curve through a central angle of 34° 54' 55" a distance
of 30.47 feet, to its point of tangency in a line parallel
with and distant Northerly 32.00 feet, measured at right
angles from the Easterly prolongation of the South line of
the land described in last said deed; thence S. 89° 46' 15"
W. along last said parallel line a distance of 976.37
feet to its point of intersection with the Northerly
prolongation of the West line of said Parcel 1, thence
from last said point along last said prolongation
S. 0° 13' 45 W. a distance of 79.00 feet to the point
of beginning, containing an area of 1.63 acres, more or
less.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of January 19 69
