RESOLUTION NO. 66R- 220
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECU-
TION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE ATCHISON,
TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY C<HPANY GRANTING TO
THE CITY A LICENSE TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND
USE AN ELECTRIC SUPPLY LINE ACROSS OR ALONG THE
PREMISES OF SAID RAILWAY C<HPANY AT OR NEAR THE
STATION OF ATWOOD, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Com-
pany, a Kansas Corporation, has tendered to the City of Anaheim a
license agreement dated March 1, 1966, licensing and permitting
the City of Anaheim to construct, maintain and use an electric
supply line containing a maximum of three conductors, across or
along the premises of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company at or near the station of Atwood, orange County, Califor-
nia, in consideration of the sum of $25 per annum, and subject
to the terms, covenants and conditions contained in said agree-
ment, the location of said electric supply line, the kind and
gauge of said conductors, and the phase, frequency and voltage
of the electric circuit carried thereon being mare particularly
shown upon the print of said Railway Company No. L-3-27658, dated
November 11, 1965, marked lIExhibit A," and attached to and made
a part of said license agree.ment; and
WHEREAS, said license agreement has this day been sub-
mitted to the City Council for consideration, and the. City Council
does find and determine that it would be for the benefit and best
interest of the City of Anaheim to enter into said license agree-
ment with said Railway Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the license agreement, dated March 1,
1966, tendered to the City of Anaheim by the Atchison, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company, a Kansas Corporation, licensing
and permitting the City of Anaheim to construct, maintain and
use an electric supply line containing a maximum of three conduc-
tors, across or along the premises of the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company at or near the station of Atwood,
Orange County, California, in consideration of the sum of $25
per annum, and subject to the terms, covenants, and conditions
therein contained, the location of said electric supply line,
the kind and gauge of said conductors, and the phase, frequency
and voltage of the electric circuit carried thereon being more
particularly shown upon the print of said Railway Company
No. L-3-27658, dated November 11, 1965, marked "Exhibit A," and
attached to and made a part of said license agreement, be, and
the same is hereby, approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
above-mentioned for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director
be, and he is hereby authorized to pay to the Atchison t Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway the sum of $25 per annum in accoraance
with the terms of said agreement.
