RESOLUTION NO. 66R-213
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPrING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasi.ng the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
Dublic utility purposes
and

WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha~ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DAVID S. COLLINS. a
married man, and MARION COLLINS. his wife. also known as
MArion G. Collins.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 32 feet, as measured from the
center line of Lemon Street, of the Northwesterly 20.00
feet of that portion of Lot 26 of Anaheim Extension, as
shown on a Survey made by William Hamel in 1868 and filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 26, said
point being the intersection of the center line of
Lemon Street with the center line of Ball Road, as shown
on said Survey; thence North 890 SSw lS" East 280.00 feet
along the South line of said Lot 26 to the Southwesterly
corner of the land conveyed to Sarah Bennet, a widow, bI
deed recorded February 16, 19S3 in Book 24S4, page S7 of
Official Records; thence Northerly along the Westerly
line of said land to a line parallel with and 120 feet
Southeasterly of the North line of the land conveyed to
R. L. Keith and wife by deed recorded November 18, 1946
in Book l4S6, page SSS of Official Records; thence South
740 20' lS" West 277.82 feet along said parallel line to
a point in the West line of said Lot 261 bei~ the center
line of Lemon Street; thence South lSo ~31 4S East
211.89 feet along said West line to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
