A RESOLUTION.. OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAll DESIGNATED AS AMENDME~ NOo 48

WHEREAS, th. City Planning Commission of the City of
Anahefm has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and vicinity of the property described in
Reclassification No. 65-66-48
and being generally bounded byg
A line approximately 500 feet west of Date Street,
West, on th~ west~ Broadway on the South~ a line
approximately 150 feet west 9f Date,Street, West,
on the east~ and a line apprQximately 200 feet
south of Lincoln Avenue,on the north~
and comprising approximately five uu 'acres, as shown
and described on Exhibit lit" on me in the City Planning
Department, after having he d a public hearing in the manner and
as prescribed b)rlaw to consider said proposed amendment, and
after having received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and '

WHEREAS, following the hear;i.ng thereon, the Planning Com-
mission did duly announce by formal resplution its findings of
facts and declare its ,opinions and reasons for recommending denial
of said amendment to 1;be General Plan, designated as Amendment
Noo 48 ; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution'~ " summary of evi- '
dence, report of findings, and recommendation of .the City Planning
Commission, the City Council did fix the ~day tif ~,
19 65 as the time and. the Council Chambe~ City~e
City 0;[ Anahefm as the. place for a'public hearing upon said pro-
posed Amendment Noo 48 to the General Pl~n and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law';' and
WHEREAS, at~the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give .11 persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did r~ceive evidence and reports and. did thereupon
consider the recommendations of the City Plann~ng C~mmission; and

WHEREAS, th~ City Council does find "nd determine that
the aforementioned and described property incl~ded within the pro-
posed amendment to the General Plan is more suitable' for the
general land use pres~tly shown on the General. Pl~ Map, and, that
Amendment No 0 48 " to the General Plan, coVering the afore- ,
mentioned and describe~ property included within the proposed AmaDd-
ment Noo 48 to the ,General Plan, should not be ~rantedo
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anahefm that Amendment Noo '48 to the General Plan,
encompassing the aforementioned and generally described property,
as shown on said Exhibit "A" , be, and the same is hereby disap-
proved as recommended by the City Planning Commission 0
