A RESOLUTION or THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYINC TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMDTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS I) the City CouDcil of the City of Anaheim i8
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described. real property
for 1IIIUniclpal purposes il to wit: Easements for road and public
utility purposes
and

WHEREAS, the owner s of sald property ha ve offered
to 8el1 and convey the same tcrthe City; .and
WHEREAS. the City CoUncil of the City of Anaheim finds
that it 1s for the benefit and beat intere8t of the City of
Anaheim to accept .aid offer and purchase .aid real property.
NOW!) THEREFORE!) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DAVm S. COLLINS, a
married man, and MARION COLLINS, his wite, a~so known as
'Marion G. Collins..
to sell to the Clty ot Anahe11lD the fol~owlng descrlbed real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange>>
State of California!) to be used for easements for road and
public utility purposes
II aDd mere partlcularly described a. tollOWs:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Southerly 53 feet, as measured from the center-
line of Ball Road, of the Northeasterly 115.50 feet of that
portion of Lot 26 of Anabeim Extension, as shown on a Survey
made by William Hamel in 1868 and filed for record in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 26, said point
being the intersection of the center line of Lemon Street
with the center line of Ball Road, as shown on said Survey;
thence North 890 55' 15" East 280.00 feet along the Soutb
line of said Lot 26 to the Southwesterly corner of the land
conveyed to Sarah Bennet, a widow, by deed recorded February 16,
1953 in Book 2454, page 57 of Official Records; tbence North-
erly along tbe Westerly line of said land to a line parallel
witb and 120 feet Southeasterly of the North line of the land
conveyed to R. L. Keitb and wife by deed recorded November 18,
1946 in Book 1456, page 555 of Official Records; tbence
South 740 20' 15" West 277.82 feet along said parallel line
to a point in tbe West line of said Lot 26, being tbe center
line of Lemon Street; thence Soutb 15. 23' 45" East 211.89
feet along said West line to tbe point of beginning.

ance of said p~operty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
