A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE DIREC-
TOR OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
RELATING TO REPAIRS TO SIDEWALK IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 18th day of
January, 1966, the Director of Public Works and Superintendent
of Streets did give notice to the owner or person in possession
of the property fronting on that portion of a sidewalk out of
repair at 162 West Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, to
repair said sidewalk; and
WHEREAS, said notice to repair said sidewalk was
given by mailing a postal card, postage prepaid, to the owner
of said property at his last known address, and by posting a
notice in a conspicuous place on said property, in accordance
with Sections 5611 to 5614, inclusive, of the California
Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, the property owner did not commence said
repairs within a period of two weeks after said notice was
given, as provided in Section 5614 of said Streets and High-
ways Code, and the Director of Public Works and Superintendent
of Streets thereupon proceeded with the repair of said side-
walk; and

WHEREAS, upon the completion of the repairs to said
sidewalk, the Director of Public Works and Superintendent of
Streets did cause notice of the cost of said repairs and the
time and place of hearing the report of said Superintendent of
Streets to be given in the form and manner directed by Sec-
tions 5616 and 5617 of the Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, the 8th day of March, 1966 at the hour of
1:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City
of Anaheim was thereby fixed as the day, hour and place when
and where the City Council would hear and pass upon a report
by the Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets
of the cost of said repairs, together with any objections or
protests, if any, which might be raised by any property owner
liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair, and any
other interested persons; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did hold and conduct said
hearing on said 8th day of March, 1966 at the hour of 1:30 P.M.,
in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, in the City of Anaheim,
for the purpose of hearing and passing upon said report of the
Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets and
for the further purpose of hearing and passing upon all objec-
tions or protests for the cost of said repairs; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Superin-
tendent of Streets did present his report specifying the
repairs which had been made, the cost of repairs, a description
of the real property in front of which the repairs had been
made, and the assessment against the lot or parcel of land

proposed to be levied to pay the cost thereof, and at said time
and place DOone appeared to object or protest the cost of such
repair.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City' 01 Anaheim t~t it does find and determine that
no person appeared to object or protest to the cost of repair
of said sidewalk, nor filed any written protests and that the
report of the Superintendent of Streets as submitted should be
confirmed.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost of repairs
as hereinafter set forth shall be and is hereby assessed
against the parcel of property fronting upon the sidewalk so
repaired as hereinafter set forth, and such cost so assessed,
if not paid within five (5) days after the date of this reso-
lution, shall constitute a special assessment against that
parcel of property as hereinafter set forth and shall be a
lien on the property for the amount as hereinafter se~ forth
from the time of recordation of a notice of lien, which lien,
shall continue until the assessment and all interest thereon
is paid, or until it is discharged of record. The description
of the property, the owner or owner of record 'of said property,
and the amount of the assessment is set forth as follows:
Lot 2 of the Kroeger Hall Subdivision, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 7, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange. County, California. {l62 West Lincoln
