RESOLUTION NO. 66R-164
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE EASEMENT DEEDS
CQVERING PROPERTY OF THE ANAHEIM UNION WATER
COMPANY SUBJECT TO EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
BY THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Union Water Company is the owner
of certain real properties over which it has granted easements
for flood control and water conservation purposes to the
Orange County Flood Control District and the Yorba Linda County
Water District; and "
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the condemner of
said 1ands.in a13 eminent domain action now pending before the
Superior Court of Orange County; aD;d
WHEREAS, were the City of Anaheim the fee owner of
such lands, it would be in the best interests of the City to
grant easements for flood control and water conservation pur-
poses over said lands; and ..
WHEREAS, as condemner, the City of Anaheim is a
necessary and proper signatory to any such easement deeds.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City o~ Anaheim timt the Mayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to exe~ute on behalf
of the City of Anaheim, as condemner, those two -easement
deeds in favor of the Orange County Flood Control District and
the Yorba Linda County Water District, being respectively
identified as "Facility No. E03, Facility: Carbon Canyon
Channel, Parcel: 812" and as "project E03, project: Carbon
Canyon Channel, Portion of Parcel No. 812."
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 1st day of March, 1966.
