RESOLUTION NO. 668.-153
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN
CONNECTION WITH PUBLIC WORKS JOB NO. 1003,
AND DECLARING RESOLUTION NO. 66R-99 NULL AND
VOID FROM AND AFTER THIS DATE'.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, on February 8,
1966, adopt Resolution No. 66R-99 finding and determining that
public convenience and necessity required the construction and
completion of a public improvement, to wit, Job No. 1003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by said resolution authorized
and directed tbe City Clerk to publish a notice according to law,
inviting sealed proposals for the furnishing of all plant, labor,
services, materials and equipment, and all utilities and trans-
portation, including power, fuel and water, and performing all work
necessary to construct and complete s.id public improvement, and
fixing the 3rd day of March, 1966 at the h9U~ of 2:00 p.m. as
the date and hour for the opening of bids; . and
WHEREAS, said notice was duly published on February 17
and 24, 1966; and .
WHEREAS, certain circumstances have arisen which make
it impractical for the City to proceed further with said public
improvement at this time; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does, therefore, find that
all proceedings in connection with Public Works Job No. 1003
should be terminated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of ADaheim that all proceedings in connection with
Public Works Job No. 1003 be, and the same are hereby terminated,
and that Resolution No. 668.-99 be, and the same is hereby declared.
to be null and void from and after this date.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1st day of March, 1966.
