RESOLUTION NO. 66R~51
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY' COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETEBMINING
THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS Nor' BEEN
MADE IN THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXA-
TION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEDI KNmm AND DESIG-
NATED AS RIN1CER ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did on the 25th day of January, 1966, receive a written peti-
tion asking that certain territory described in said peti-
tion be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution
No. 66R-64, designating the said proposed annexation as
RINKER ANNEXATION; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix the 1st day of
March, 1966, at the hour of 1:30 P.M., at the City Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, as the day,
hour and place when and where the City council would hear
protests made by the owner or owners of any real property
within the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published' by
the City Clerk in the Anaheim Bulletin on January 31st and
February 7th, 1966, in accordance with the requirements of
law; and
WHEREAS, said hearing on protests was held on the
1st day of March, 1966, and on said date said hearing was
closed;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council does ~ind and declare that a majority protest was
not made at said hearing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 1st day of March, 1966.
