OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT
UTILITY PURPOSES

ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ESTHER M. MEYER, a married
woman as her sole and separate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Southwesterly 20.25 feet of that portion of Vine-
yard Lot G -5, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, pages 629
and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Vineyard Lot G -5;
thence from said point of beginning Southerly along the Westerly
line of said Lot G-5, 112 feet to the true point of beginning,
said point being the Southerly corner of that certain parcel of
land conveyed to Emma Meinecke by deed recorded November 26,
1921 in Book 407, page 347 of Deeds, records of said Orange
County; thence Northeasterly along the Southerly line of said
Meinecke's land 129.46 feet, more or less, to a point in the
Northwesterly prolongation of the centerline, if extended, of
that certain 15 foot alley as shown in Block D on the Map of
Tract No. 365, which is shown on a Map recorded in Book 15,
page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County;
thence Southerly parallel with the Westerly line of said Lot
G -5, 100 feet to the Northwesterly line of said Tract No. 365;
thence Southwesterly along the said Northwesterly line of said
Tract No. 365 and its Southwesterly prolongation to the West-
erly line of said Lot G -5; thence Northwesterly along said West-
erly line, 100 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of June 19 66
