A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING THE GRANT DEED
OF MACOBE, INC. IN CONNECTION WITH THE
SETTLEMENT OF CERTAIN EMINENT DOMAIN
LITIGATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore authorized
the bringing of certain eminent domain proceedings to condemn
a portion of the North 25 acres of the South 30 acres of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 7,
Township 4 South, Range 9 West in the Rancho San Juan Cajon
de Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, after said proceedings had commenced,
Macobe, Inc., a California Corporation, did purchase a portion
of said land subject to the Lis Pendens on file therein, but
now has offered its Corporation Grant Deed in favor of the
City of Anaheim for a consideration heretofore agreed upon;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City of Anaheim to accept said Corpora-
tion Grant Deed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it accept, and it does hereby
accept, the Corporation Grant Deed of Macobe, Inc. in favor
of the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be
and she is hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to
be recorded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
