A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND OLIN DUTRA, EXECUTED ON
MAY 3, 1961, IS EXTENDED FOR A FIVE -YEAR
PERIOD BY REASON OF THE EXERCISE OF AN
OPTION TO EXTEND BY OLIN DUTRA.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Olin Dutra, a
professional golfer, entered into an agreement, dated May 3,
1961, whereby Mr. Dutra was granted the exclusive right to
operate the golf shop concession at the Anaheim Municipal
Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provided that Mr. Dutra
had an option to extend the agreement for five years from
May 31, 1966 through May 31, 1971, by sending written notice
to the City declaring his intention and desire to exercise
said option and renew said agreement; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dutra has orally communicated with the
City Manager of the City of Anaheim his desire to exercise
said option and renew said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it finds and determines that
Mr. Dutra has exercised the option to renew agreement
dated May 3, 1961, by and between the City of Anaheim and
Mr. Dutra.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the option to renew
the agreement has been exercised by Mr. Dutra and the agree
ment is extended on the same terms and conditions through
May 31, 1971.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 31st day of May, 1966.
