A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
oad and public utility purposes
an d
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across a portion of Lot 17 of Anaheim Extension
as shown on a Map made by William Hamel and filed
December 11, 1868 in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 17 of
Anaheim Extension, said Northwest corner being the inter-
section of the center line of East Street and the center
line of Vermont Avenue; thence Southerly along the center
line of said East Street 1,188.08 feet; thence
North 74° 34' 15" East 45.00 feet; thence Northerly
along a line that is parallel with and 45.00 feet East of
the center line of said East Street, 1130.13 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly,
having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northerly and
Easterly along said curve through a central angle of
89° 57' 21" an arc distance of 39.25 feet; thence Northerly
along a line that is perpendicular to the center line of
Vermont Avenue, a distance of 33.00 feet; thence
Westerly along said center line of Vermont Avenue to
the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same IT City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM UNION HIGH
SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and ublic utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 10th day of May 19 66
