A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT TO BE MADE AND ENTERED INTO BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR THE
PURCHASE AND SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California described as:
PARCEL 1
The Westerly 20 feet of the Easterly 155.32 feet of
the Southerly 575 feet, and the Northerly 15 feet of
the Southerly 575 feet of the Westerly 10.74 feet of
the Easterly 166.06 feet of Lot A of Tract No. 97, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 11, page 39 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
(Designated as Assessor's Parcel No. 34- 030 -38.)
PARCEL 2
An undivided one third interest in and to the following
described parcel:
The North 16 feet of the South 50 feet of the East 38
feet of Lot 10 of the Anaheim Investment Co. Tract, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 7, pages 33 and 34 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia.
(Designated as Assessor's Parcel No. 129 102 18.)
was sold and deeded to the State of California for the non-
payment of taxes which had been legally levied and which were a
lien upon said property under and in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, it is within the power and discretion of
the City of Anaheim, pursuant to Division 1, Part 6, Chapter 8
of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California,
to purchase the above described property by agreement with the
Board of Supervisors of Orange County, and with the approval of
the State Controller of the State of California.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City enter into an agreement
with the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange for the
purchase by the City of the above described property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim
in the manner and form and upon the terms and conditions as set
forth in the agreement hereto attached and made a part hereof.

by and between the Board of Supervisors of the County of trange,
State of California, anc? the City of Anaheim, a municipal cor-
poration in the titate of California, subject o the approva' of
the State Control.er, pursuant to the provisions r `/ivisio:: I,
Part 6, Chapter of the Revenue and Taxation code,
W I T N E S S E T H:
THAT 'WHEREAS, there is situated in the City of \naheim
certain property which is deeded to the State of California for
uelinquent taxes; and,
WHEREAS, the deed to the State for taxes includes taxes
levied by the City of Anaheim, the taxes of which ire collected
by the County officers;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby mutually agreed, as
follows:
A G R E E M E N T
AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
CALTFORN A, OF THE STATE'S TITLE TO TAX DEEDED
PROPERTY W1THI\ SAID CITY AS PROVIDED BY DIVISION I,
PART 6, CHAPTER S, OF THE REr :ENUF AND TAXATIO'y CODE
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
1. That as provided in Section 3800 of the Revenue
and Taxation Code, the cost of giving the notice of this agree-
ment shad be paid by the City of Anaheim.
2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Orange agrees to sell to the City of Anaheim all or any portion
of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached ht r and
made s part hereof which shall not have been redeemed as provided
in the Revenue and Taxation Code, upon payment by said City to
the tax collector of said County the sum set forth in said ex-
hibit after the description of the property and designated
"PURCHASE PRICE," within 10 days after this agreement becomes
effective.
3. That as provided by Section 3808 of the Revenue

and Taxation Code, the city will pay the "purchase price" to
the county tax collector and the city will not share in the
distribution of the payment.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused
this agreement to be executed by their duly authorized officers.
