A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
an� lic utility purposes
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SANTA ANITA INVESTMENTS,
INCORPORATED a California Corporation,

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Easterly 45 feet, as measured at right angles
from the centerline of Haster Street of that portion of the East
half of the East half of the Southeast quarter of Section 27,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon
de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Tract No. 1965, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 105, pages 27 and 38 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence North 89
38 00" West along the South line of said Tract No. 1965, a
distance of 660.26 feet to a point in the West line of the East
half of the Northeast quarter of said Southeast quarter; thence
South 0 41' 47" East along said West line and its Southerly
prolongation 279.84 feet to a point in the North line of Lot 69
of Tract No. 2520, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 88,
pages 11 through 15, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California; thence South 89 38' 14" East
along the North line of said Lot 69 and along its Easterly pro-
longation 660.24 feet to a point in the East line of said
Southeast quarter; thence North 0 41' 27" West along said East
line 279.79 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of April 19 66
