A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF ANAHEIM (CALI-
FORNIA) STADIUM INC. PROVIDING FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A TEMPORARY ACCESS ROAD
FROM KATELLA AVENUE TO THE ANAHEIM STADIUM,
AND FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF THE COSTS OF SAID
ROAD.
WHEREAS, City of Anaheim (California) Stadium, Inc.
has been constructing a Stadium complex and appurtenant improve-
ments upon land of the City of Anaheim leased to it for that
purpose and has caused a multi- purpose stadium to be erected on
such land, and has (to the extent land has been made available
through eminent domain proceedings by the City) improved the
parking area and access roads; and
WHEREAS, the City, because of court delays in the
completion of its eminent domain proceedings, has not been
able to turn over the land intended for some parking and the
access road from Katella Avenue; and
WHEREAS, to facilitate access from Katella Avenue
to the Stadium, the City has leased sufficient land from a pri-
vate corporation to construct an access road, and finds that it
is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to have such
road constructed at the same time and by the same contractors
engaged by City of Anaheim (California) Stadium, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, City of Anaheim (California) Stadium, Inc.,
because of its corporate limitations, is not in a position to
spend its funds to construct improvements upon lands not included
within those contemplated in the trust indenture upon which
the issuance of revenue bonds was predicated, and, therefore,
must have any funds so expended through it reimbursed by the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City further finds that within a con-
struction cost limitation of $6,000.00, it is more economical
and factually feasible to lease the land as set forth above and
to reimburse City of Anaheim (California) Stadium, Inc. for its
costs of access road construction up to the sum of $6,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that an agreement be made and entered
into by and between City of Anaheim (California) Stadium, Inc.
and the City of Anaheim providing as follows:
1. City of Anaheim (California) Stadium, Inc. will
construct or cause to be constructed a temporary access road
from Katella Avenue to the Anaheim Stadium property over land
leased by the City. Upon completion thereof, City of Anaheim
(California) Stadium, Inc. will bill the City for the actual
costs of such construction.
2. Upon receipt of such billing and the completion of
such access road, the City will reimburse said City of Anaheim
(California) Stadium, Inc. for the costs of said road up to the
sum of $6,000.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are, hereby authorized to execute such agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
