A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of THOMAS P. WALKER,
a married man; as his sole and separate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 6 of South Placentia
Tract No. 2, as per Map thereof recorded in Book 5, page 42
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly line of the
land described in the deed to the State of California
recorded October 8, 1954 in Book 2837, page 307 of Official
Records, with the Southerly line of Via Burton Street, 60
feet wide, as described in the deed to the City of Anaheim
recorded September 3, 1959 in Book 4868, page 525 of said
Official Records; thence North 89° 56' 44" East along said
Southerly line, 28.09 feet, more or less, to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius
of 25.00 feet, said curve being tangent also to a line
parallel with and 3.00 feet Easterly, measured at right
angles from said Eas line; thence Southwesterly along
said curve, through a central angle of 90° 11' 44" a dis-
tance of 39.36 feet to said parallel line; thence South 0°
15' 00" East, along said parallel line, 204.86 feet to the
Easterly line of the land described in the deed to the State
of California recorded August 26, 1955 in Book 3188, page
332 of said Official Records; thence North 6° 57' 42" West,
along said Easterly line 25.67 feet to said Easterly line
described in deed recorded in Book 2837, page 307 of said
Official Records; thence North 0° 15' 00" West, along said
Easterly line, 204.47 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of October 19 66
