WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT WASSERMAN. an
unmarried man,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 53 feet, as measured at
right angles to the centerline of Knott Street, of that
portion of the West half of the Northwest quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of said Section,
said West line being also the centerline of Knott Street,
distant thereon South 0 14' 05" East, 444.06 feet from
the Northwest corner of said Section; then North 89 41'
32" East, 662.35 feet to a 1 -inch iron pipe tagged RCE
9808, said point being in the East line of said West
half; thence South 0 14' 40" East, 570.71 feet along
said East line to a 1 -inch iron pipe, said point being
in the North line of the South 330 feet of said Northwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter; thence South 89 37' 16"
West, 662.44 feet along said North line to a point in the
West line of said Section; thence North 0 14 05" West
along said West line, 571.51 feet to the point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to p to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
