66-669RESOLUTION NO. 66R -669 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed- ings No. 64 67 24 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein and from its staff; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro- posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Planning Commission the City Council did fix the day of October 19 66 as the time, and the C y Council Chambers in the City H the City of Anaheim as the for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there- of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor- tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings and recommendation; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit: 66 -67 -24 Parcel 1: Lots 3 and 4, in Block 10, and Lots 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9, in Block 11, of the Golden State Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County; EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly one -half of Lots 2 and 3 in Block 11 of said Tract; ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM those portions of said lots in- cluded within California State Highway, Route ORA 91 (142 feet wide), formerly known as Route ORA 175 -B. Parcel 2: Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of Lot 10, in Block 11, Golden State Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county, with the Northeasterly line of California State Highway, Route ORA 91 (142 feet wide), formerly known as Route ORA 175 -B; thence Northerly along said westerly line, and its Northerly prolongation, to an intersection with the center line of Coronado Street, 40 feet wide, as shown on said map; thence Easterly along said center line to its intersection with the center line of Blue Gum Street, 40 feet wide, shown on said map as an unnamed street adjoining said Block 11 on the East; thence Northerly along said last- mentioned center line to its intersection with the Southerly line of Miraloma Avenue, 40 feet wide, formerly known as Anaheim Road; thence East- erly along said Southerly line, 20 feet to its intersection with the Easterly line of said Blue Gum Street; thence Southerly along said Easterly line, 660 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the Southerly line of Orange Street, 40 feet wide, as shown on the Map of the Eucalyptus Forest Tract, recorded in Book 5, pages 29 and 30 of said Miscellaneous Maps; thence Easterly along said last mentioned Southerly line, 244 feet, more or less, to the Northeasterly corner of Lot 53 of said last- mentioned tract; thence Southerly along the Easterly line of said Lot 53 to the Southeasterly corner thereof; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of said lot, 48 feet; thence Southerly, parallel to said Blue Gum Street center line, 298 feet, more or less, to a point on a line parallel with, and distant Northerly 32 feet, as measured at right angles, from the center line of said Coronado Street; thence Westerly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and distant Easterly 50 feet, as measured at right angles, from said Blue Gum Street center line; thence Southerly along said last- mentioned parallel line, 391.81 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 550 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 27° 12' 50" an arc distance of 261.23 feet to a point on the center line of Santa Ana Street, 40 feet wide, as shown on said last mentioned map; thence Westerly along said Santa Ana Street center line, 115.87 feet, more or less, to its intersection with said Easterly line of Blue Gum Street; thence Southerly along said Easterly line, 401.67 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the Northerly line of La Palma Avenue, 40 feet wide, shown as an unnamed street on the map of said Golden State Tract; thence South 51° 41' 38" West along said Northerly line, 192.54 feet; thence South 38° 18' 22" East, 20 feet to the center line of said La Palma Avenue; thence South 51 41' 38" West along said last- mentioned center line to its inter- section with the Northeasterly line of said California State Highway; thence North 60° 46' 49" West along said North- easterly line to the point of beginning. Parcel 3: Lots 40 through 44 inclusive, Lots 47 through 51 inclusive, and Lots 102 through 106 inclusive, of the Eucalyptus Forest Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, pages 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county. Parcel 4: Lots 1 through 5, inclusive, of the Eucalyptus Forest Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Califor- nia, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, pages 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county, and the northerly one -half of Lots 2 and 3, in Block 11 of the Golden State Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of said Miscellaneous Maps; EXCEPTING THEREFROM the northerly 20 feet included within Miraloma Avenue, formerly known as Anaheim Road. be excluded from R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE and M -1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE (Interim Zoning) and incorporated in the following zones: That Parcels incorporated That Parcels incorporated 1 and 4 above described shall be in R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE; and 2 and 3 above described shall be in M -1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter mined to be necessary and proper.
