66-654RESOLUTION NO. j R- 654 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY F H EIM L PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 66R -646. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to sell and convey the same TB City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described rea property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of Lots 8, 9 and la-of Tract No. 2300, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 68, pages 35 and 36 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 8 of said Tract 2300; thence Southerly along the West line of said Lots 8, 9 and a portion of Lot 10 of said Tract 2300 a distance of 176.69 feet, to the begin- ning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 90° 02' 56" an arc distance of 23.57 feet to an in- tersection with the South line of said Lot 10; thence Easterly along the South line of said Lot 10 a distance of 84.99 feet to the East line of said Lot 10; thence North 0° 11' 10" East along the Easterly line of Lot 10 a distance of 2 feet; thence Westerly parallel with the South line of said Lot 10 a distance of 71.95 feet to the begin- ning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet; thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 90° 02' 56" an arc distance of 39.29 feet to a point in a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Easterly of the centerline of Placentia Avenue (now known as State College Boulevard); thence North 0° 11' 10" East tangent to said curve, along said parallel line a distance of 164.55 feet to the North line of said Lot 8, thence North 89° 48' 50" West 3 feet to the point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 66R -646 be, and the same is hereby rescinded. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this llth day of October 1966.
