A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of BETTY MAXINE BRAWNER, a
married woman, and JACK HAROLD BURGESS and ROSEMARY S. BURGESS,
husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Northwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of South Street
and State College Boulevard, as shown on a Map filed in
Book 81, page 15 of Record of Surveys in the office of the
County Recorder of said county; thence South 0° 05' 15"
West along the centerline of said State College Boulevard
a distance of 178 feet; thence South 89° 51' 46" East a
distance of 53 feet; thence North 0° 05' 15" East a distance
of 120.93 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Southeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet; thence North-
erly and Easterly along said curve through a central angle
of 90° 02' 59" an arc distance of 39.29 feet; thence South
89" 51' 46" East tangent to said curve a distance of 251.95
feet; thence North 0 05' 15" East a distance of 32 feet to
an intersection with the centerline of said South Street;
thence North 89° 51' 46" West along the said centerline of
said South Street to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of September 1966
