66-618Riverdale Avenue RESOLUTION NO. 66R -618 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 82. WHEREAS, Riverdale Avenue is classified as a standard 90 -foot Secondary Highway on the Highway Rights -of -Way Circula- tion Element of the General Plan; and WHEREAS, exceptions to this classification have been noted on developments within the jurisdiction of the County of Orange; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to the Circulation Element Highway Rights -of -Way on the General Plan by changing Riverdale Avenue from its present classification as a Secondary Highway without exceptions to a Secondary Highway with exceptions, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, following said hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt Resolution No. PC66 -55 containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan, designated as Amendment No. 82, be adopted by the City Council and that the existing "Table of Exceptions" to the. Circulation Element Highway Rights -of -Way on the General Plan be amended as follows: Name of Street Classification Part Thereof Secondary Anaheim City Limits easterly to Taylor Street Distance from Monumented Center Line 40 feet with a standard 64 -foot roadway, with the parkways reduced from the standard 13 feet to 8 feet. AND WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said resolu- tion it was noted by the City Planning Commission that Tract No. 5409 in the. City of Anaheim also reflects an 80 -foot arterial highway width, and it was, therefore, recommended that that portion of the street included in General Plan Amendment No. 82 be amended to read "Riverdale Avenue from the center line of Redrock Street in Tract No. 5409 easterly to Taylor Street and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 27th day of September, 1966 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed Amendment No. 82 to the General Plan and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor- tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that Amendment No. 82 to the General Plan, amending the "Table of Exceptions" to the Circulation Element Highway Rights -of- Way should be approved as recommended by the City Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 82 to the General Plan, amending the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way on said General Plan by. changing Riverdale Avenue from its present classification of a Secondary Highway without exceptions to a Secondary Highway with exceptions, be, and the same is hereby approved, and that the existing "Table of Exceptions" to the Circulation Element Highway Rights -of -Way on the General Plan, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows: Name of Street Riverdale Avenue be, and conform Classification Part Thereof Secondary From the center line of Redrock Street in Tract No. 5409 easterly to Taylor Street ATTEST: z-e-- 2'( 2) 1-- Ze-L---,7-- CI Y CLERK OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM Distance from Monumented Center Line 40 feet with a standard 64 -foot roadway, with the parkways reduced from the standard 13 feet to 8 feet.
