66-609WHEREAS, the City desires to construct a branch library
to be located on the south side of Lincoln Avenue, approximately
1300 feet west of Sunkist Street, in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of architectural ser-
vices in connection with the construction of said branch
library facility; and
WHEREAS, Tom and Truskier, Architects, are qualified
to render such architectural services to the City, including
the general administration and supervision of the construction
work, and desire to be employed for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to secure the services of
said architects in the preparation of the plans and specifica-
tions for said branch library; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement, dated September 13,
1966, has this day been submitted to the City Council to be
made and entered into by and between Tom and Truskier, Archi-
tects, A.I.A., and the City of Anaheim, providing for the
rendering of said architectural services upon the terms and
conditions and for the compensation therein set forth, which
agreement the City Council finds would be for the benefit and
in the best interests of the City and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement, dated September 13,1966,
this day submitted to the City Council to be made and entered
into by and between the City of Anaheim and Tom and Truskier,
Architects, A.I.A., providing for the employment of said archi-
tects to render architectural services to the City in connection
with the construction of said branch library on the south side of
Lincoln Avenue approximately 1300 feet west of Sunkist Street,
upon the terms and conditions, and for the compensation set forth
in said agreement, be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the. City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
