A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of LEE 0. WEBB and
FLORENCE L. WEBB, husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 26 of Anaheim
Extension as shown on a Map of Survey made by William
Hamel in 1868 and filed for record in the office of
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 26,
said point being the intersection of the center line
of Lemon Street with the center line of Ball Road,
as shown on said Survey; thence North 89 55' 15"
East along the center line of said Ball Road, a
distance of 161.00 feet; thence North 13 40' 55" West
a distance of 54.53 feet to an intersection with a
line 53 feet Northerly and parallel with said center
line of Ball Road; thence South 89 55' 15" West
along said parallel line a distance of 118.07 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly
and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Westerly and
Northerly along said curve through a central angle of
74 41' 00" an arc distance of 19.55 feet; thence
North 15 23' 45" West tangent to said curve a distance
of 134.41 feet; thence South 74 20' 15" West a distance
of 32 feet to an intersection with the center line of
said Lemon Street; thence South 15 23' 45" East along
the center line of said Lemon Street a distance of
191.89 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
