A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of H. K. MARVIN, a married
man, dealing with his sole and separate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of
electrical service facilities, including power lines,
poles and cross arms, over, under and across that portion
of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 5, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page
10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County,
described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the West line of said Section,
North 0 19' 44" West 645.00 feet from the Southwest
corner of said Section; thence North 89 40' 16" East
270.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence con-
tinuing North 89 40' 16' East, 5.00 feet; thence North
0 19' 44" West to a point on the Southwesterly line of
Lot 153, Tract No. 2093, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 76, pages 45 et seq. of Miscellaneous Maps; thence
North 60 36' 16" West to the most Northerly Northeast
corner of the land described in "Parcel 3" in a deed to
H, K. Marvin, recorded February 24, 1966 in Book 7849,
page 105 of Official Records of said County; thence
South 31 17' 34" East 17.70 feet; thence South
0 19' 44" East, 88.59 feet to the true point of
beginning.
The Easterly 2.00 feet of the above described parcel is
to be an easement for overhang purposes only, for
electric power lines and cross arms.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of August 19
