A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AREA DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO.
68, EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS,.the 11C-0" (Commercial, -Office) Zone of
the City ,of _ Anaheim requires that an area development plan
be prepared and approved.,by the City whenever a reclassi-
fication petition to the C-0 Zone encompasses less than
20,000 square feet of property; and
WHEREAS, on June 6 and July 18,,1966, the City
Planning Commission did hold a public hearing to consider
Area Development Plan No. 68 authorizing commercial develop-
ment on the property generally located on both sides of East
Street between Lincoln Avenue and the Riverside Freeway; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Res:olution,No. PC66-9 containing
a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented
at said hearing and a recommendation that said Area Develop-
ment Plan No. 66 be disapproved; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, a summary
of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 16th
day of August-, 1966, as the time, and the City Council Chamber
in the City Hall as the place for a public hearing on said
proposed Area Development Plan No. 68, and -did give notice
thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Area Development Plan No. 68, Exhibit "A" changing the
land use designation in the area described aforesaid, should
be approved in accordance with said Exhibit "A" on file with
the City Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Area Development Plan No. 68
retaining the low density character of the area but indicat-
ing and approving commercial concentrations (neighborhood
developments) at Lincoln and East Streets, Sycamore and
East Streets, La Palma and East Streets, and Romneya and East
Streets, in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the
City Planning Commission be, and the same is hereby, approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of August, 1966.
