RESOLUTION NO. 66R- 536
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN INDENTURE GRANTING TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR
MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing
the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes;
and
WHEREAS, said real property was duly sold and conveyed
to the State of California for non payment of taxes in accordance
with law; and
WHEREAS, in conformity with the provisions of Division
1, Part 6, Chapter 8, Article 2 of the Revenue and Taxation Code
of the State of California, by agreement therein authorized,
the Tax Collector of the County of Orange agreed to sell to the
City of Anaheim said real property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, no taxing agency objected to the sale; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it is for the
benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept the
offer to sell said real property and purchase the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that that certain indenture dated July 28,
1966 and this day submitted to the City Council, granting to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California:
An undivided 1/3 interest in the North 16 feet
of the South 50 feet of the East 38 feet of Lot
10 of Anaheim Investment Company's Tract as per
map thereof recorded in Book 7 Pages 33 and 34
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to Don S.
Mozley, Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California,
the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 2nd day of August, 1966.
