RESOLUTION NO. 66
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of
EDWARD REAL and HELEN M. REAL, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following d rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as o ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lot 41,
Tract No. 1120, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
41, page 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said lot, said
point being the intersection of the East line of
South East Street with the North line of East Broadway,
as shown on said Map; thence Northerly along the West-
erly line of said lot, 5.00 feet; thence Southeasterly
to a point on the North line of said East Broadway,
which said point is 5.00 feet Easterly, as measured
along said North line, of the point of beginning;
thence Westerly along said North line, 5.00 feet to
the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
