RESOLUTION NO, 6c)R- 494
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of
MARGARET B. BOYSEN, a widow,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot 12, Block "D" of Tract 365,
Hess Subdivision, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 15, page
14 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Harbor Boulevard
and Water Street; thence Northerly along the centerline of
Harbor Boulevard, 88.25 feet; thence at right angles to said
centerline of Harbor Boulevard, 45 feet to a point in a line
that is parallel with and distant 45 feet from said centerline
of Harbor Boulevard; thence Southerly along said parallel line,
34.95 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave North-
easterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly and
Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 90 11' 30"
an arc distance of 23.61 feet to a point in a line that is
parallel with and distant 38.25 feet Northerly of the center-
line of said Water Street; thence Southerly to a point on said
centerline, said point being 60.18 feet from the point of
beginning; thence Westerly, along said centerline of Water
Street, 60.18 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of July 19 66
