A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT
NO. 76
WHEREAS, the City Planning .Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and .adopted a resolution re-
commending denial of an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and vicinity of the property described in
Reclassification Proceedin.s No. 65 66 116

The south side of Ball Road on the north; the
east side of Western Avenue on the west; Lanerose
Avenue on the south; and extending for approxi-
mately 650 feet easterly;
and comprising approximately 8.95 acres as shown .and described
on Exhibit. "A" on file in the City Planning. Department, after
having held a public hearing in the .manner and. as. prescrlbed. by
law to consider said proposed amendment, and after having re-
ceived evidence and reports from persons interested therein and
WHEREAS, following the hearing thereon,'the Planning
Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its- findings
of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending
denial of said amendment to the General Plan, designated as
Amendment No 76 and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 12th day of
July 19 66 as the time and the Council Chamber in
the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed Amendment No 76 to the General
Plan and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and
did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 76 to the General Plan, encompassing the afore-
mentioned and generally described property included within the
proposed amendment to the General Plan, as shown on Exhibit
"A" on file in the City Planning Department, should be
approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 76 to the General
Plan, encompassing the aforementioned and generally.described
property, as shown on said Exhibit be, and the same
is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby instructed, to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 76 herein approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of July, 1966.
