A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
6481 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS NO.
60- 61 -38; AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A CONSENT TO REMOVAL OF DEED RESTRICTIONS.
WHEREAS, on November 29, 1960 the City Council of
the City of Anaheim did adopt Resolution No. 6481 in Reclassi-
fication Proceedings No. 60 -61 -38 finding and determining that
a portion of the property therein described, and hereinafter
described, should be changed from R -A, RESIDENTAL- AGRICULTURAL
ZONE to C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD-COMMERCIAL ZONE, subject to certain
conditions set forth in said resolution, one of which, being
Condition No. 2, provided that City of Anaheim C -1 Deed
Restrictions be placed of record limiting the uses of the C -1
property to business and professional offices and any R -3
uses; and
WHEREAS, on November 29, 1962, the owners of said
property, more particularly described as follows:
All that area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described
as:
The southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
the Southeast quarter of Section 17, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 51, Page
10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County;
EXCEPT the North 408 feet thereof.
did place of record in the Office of the County Recorder of
Orange County the C -1 Deed Restrictions covering said property
as required in Resolution No. 6481, and thereafter, on
January 15, 1963, Ordinance No. 1804 was adopted by the City
Council reclassifying subject property to C -1, Neighborhood
Commercial Zone; and
WHEREAS, a request has recently been received from
the owners of subject property asking that the City of Anaheim
consent to the removal of said C -1 Deed Restrictions; and
WHEREAS, said request has been set for public hearings
before the City Planning Commission and the City Council and
said hearings have been held according to law, and the City
Council does find that:
(1) Since the adoption of the ordinance reclassify-
ing subject property the Anaheim Municipal Code
has been amended and R -3 uses are no longer
permitted in the C -1 Zone;

(3) That consent to the removal of the C -1 Deed
Restrictions should, therefore, be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Condition No. 2 of Resolution No.
6481 in Reclassification Proceedings No. 60 -61 -38 be, and the
same is hereby, amended by deleting therefrom the provision
that standard City of Anaheim C -1 Deed Restrictions be placed
of record on the C -1 property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed, for and on
behalf of the City of Anaheim, to execute a consent to the
removal of said Deed Restrictions.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 28th day of June, 1966.

area in which subject property is located to
justify removal of said deed restrictions,
limiting the uses of the property to business
and professional offices and any R -3 uses,
and permit development in accordance with the
C -1 Zone standards; and
