66-796RESOLUTION NO. 66R- 796 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM Ai1ENDING RESOLUTION NO. 66R 202 NUNC PRO TUNC TO REFLECT A CHANGE IJ THE AREA OF LAND ACQUIRED FROJ »i THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, in connection with the acquisition of land from the State of California between the Stadium Property and the Orange Freeway, the State revised its right of way and reduced the area of surplus land available for purchase by the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 66R -202 of the City Council of the City of Anaheim authorizing the purchase and acquisition of such surplus land should be corrected to reflect the true amount of land acquired and the correct amount to be paid therefor. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Resolution 66R -202, adopted on the 15th day of March, 1966, be, and the same is hereby amended nunc pro tunc to read as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 66R -202 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the State of California, in connection with the acquisition of land for the Orange Freeway has acquired three parcels of land which have been declared to be excess land by the State of California; and WHEREAS, said parcels of land lie between the parking lot of the Anaheim Stadium and said proposed Orange Freeway; and WHEREAS, the State of California has indicated that it is willing to sell said parcels, being a total of 2.301 acres, at a price of $21,000 per acre; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the City to purchase said parcels from the State of California, and further finds that the price thereof is reasonable and in line with contiguous property acquired by the City in connection with the con- struction of the Anaheim Stadium. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it authorize, and it does hereby authorize and direct the purchase of said parcels of land, described by State of California desig- nations as set forth below, for the following amounts: ATTEST: ATTEST: Parcel A 6288 Parcel A 6285 Parcel A 6285 Unit 1 DENE M.
