A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same fir the e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HAROLD SILVERMAN and
ETHEL SILVERMAN, husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Southerly 147.75 feet
of Lot 1 in Block A of Anaheim Villa Tract, as shown on a
Map thereof recorded in Book 14, page 44 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Center Street,
now known as Lincoln Avenue, and Illinois Street, as said
intersection is shown on a Map of the Anaheim Villa Tract,
recorded in Book 14, page 44 of Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County, California; thence North 74! 24' 30"
East along the center line of said Lincoln Avenue a
distance of 45.10 feet; thence South 15° 35' 30" East a
distance of 44.75 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
Southeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet, a radial
line bearing North 15° 35' 30" West passes through the
point of beginning of said curve; thence Westerly and
Southerly along said curve through a central angle of
90° 05' 30" an arc distance of 23.59 feet to an inter-
section with a line that is parallel with an 30° feet
Easterly of the center line of Illinois Street;
thence South 74° 30' 00" West a distance of 30 feet to the
center line of said Illinois Street; thence North 15° 30' 00"
West along the center line of Illinois Street a distance of
59.82 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 201 day of December 19 66
