WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
and lessee
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of FRANK M. DEL GIORGIO and
MADELEINE H. DEL GIORGIO, husband and wife. owners, and
UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation. lessee.,.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following escri a rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lots 1 and 3 of Anaheim Home Tract,
recorded in Book 6, page 34 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows;
Commencing at the center line intersection of Harbor Boulevard,
formerly known as Spadra Road, with the center line of Romneya
Drive, as shown on a Map filed in Book 23, page 45 of Record
of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County; thence South along the center line of said
Harbor Boulevard, a distance of 140.01 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence continuing along said center line of
Harbor Boulevard, South a distance of 67.41 feet; thence
South 59° 04' 24" East a distance of 92.85 feet; thence
North 30° 55' 36" East a distance of 30 feet and beginning
of a curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of
103 feet, a radial line bearing South 30° 55' 36" West passes
through the point of beginning of said curve; thence Northerly
and Westerly along said curve through a central angle of
59° 04' 24" an arc distance of 107.38 feet; thence North
a distance of 1.13 feet; thence South 89° 54' 00" West a
distance of 45 feet to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to p y to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)0
