A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
rpad and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same Er the e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of PLACENTIA UNIFIED SCHOOL
DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the 57 acre tract of First
Class Land marked "Ramona De La Guerra" on a Map showing
Partition of the M. Yorba Estate, filed in Book 1, page 27
of Record of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder
of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said 57 acre tract of
land, said corner being a point in the center line of Orange
thorpe Avenue, 50.00 feet wide; thence along the Westerly line
of said tract, North 03 degrees, 53' 09" East, 804.09 feet;
thence South 86 degrees, 06' 51" East, 715.31 feet; thence
South 50 degrees, 21' 36" East, 65.58 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence from said true point of beginning,
North 39 degrees, 38' 24" East, 297.99 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve, concave Southeasterly and having a
radius of 585.00 feet thence Northeasterly along said curve,
through a central angle of 14 degrees, 43' 35 an arc
distance of 150.36 feet to a point; thence South 14 degrees,
50' 50" East, 32.53 feet to a point on the arc of a curve,
concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 700.00 feet, a
radial line bearing North 39 degrees, 00' 24" West passes
through the point of beginning of said curve; thence South-
westerly along said curve, through a central angle of 11
degrees, 21' 12 an arc distance of 138.71 feet; thence
South 39 degrees, 38' 24" West, tangent to said last
mentioned curve, 290.00 feet; thence North 50 degrees,
21' 36" West, 32.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of December 19 66
