A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT
NO. 74.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to
the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way on the General
Plan, by changing La Palma Avenue from its present classification
of a Primary Highway with an exception in right of way width on
the south side of the street, between Harbor Boulevard and Anaheim
Boulevard, to a Primary Highway without exception, and at said
hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing the Planning Commission
did duly adopt Resolution No. 1993 containing a report of its
findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing,
and a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan,
designated as Amendment No. 74, be adopted by the City Council
and that the existing "Table of Exceptions" to the Circulation
Element Highway Rights of Way on the General Plan be amended
as follows

AND WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary
of evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 10th day of
May, 1966, as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall
of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said
proposed Amendment No. 74 to the General Plan and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission,
and did continue said hearing to a later date; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 74 to the General Plan, amending the "Table of
Exceptions" to the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way
should be approved, as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 74 to the General Plan,
amending the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way on said
General Plan by changing La Palma Avenue from its present classi-
fication of a Primary Highway with an exception in right of way
width on the south side of the street, between Harbor Boulevard
and Anaheim Boulevard, to a Primary Highway without exception, be,
and the same is hereby approved, and that the existing "Table of
Exceptions" to the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way
on the General Plan, be, and the same is hereby amended as
follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 74 herein approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of December, 1966.
