ATTEST:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE NAME OF A
PORTION OF BLUE GUM STREET, WITHIN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, TO BLUE GUM WAY.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did on November 21,
1966 adopt Resolution No. PC66 -158 finding and recommending that
to avoid confusion in having two streets named Blue Gum Street in
the same general vicinity, a street name change is necessary for
the cul -de -sac portion of the original alignment of Blue Gum
Street; and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration of the matter, the
City Council does find that in accordance with the findings and
recommendations of the City Planning Commission, and in order to
avoid confusion, public convenience and necessity require that
the name of the small cul -de -sac portion of the original alignment
of Blue Gum Street extending southerly from a point approximately
650 feet South of Coronado Street to the north side of the origi-
nal alignment of La Palma Avenue, be changed to Blue Gum Way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the small cul -de -sac portion of the
original alignment of Blue Gum Street extending southerly from
a point approximately 650 feet south of Coronado Street to the
north side of the original alignment of La Palma Avenue, in the
City of Anaheim, be changed to Blue Gum Way.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of December, 1966.
