A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASFM1NT
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM R TAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC'_
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same 17 City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MOUNTAIN VIEW DAIRIES.
INC., a California corporation; EDWIN C. BECHLER. LEONA BECHLER,
FERARRA and JOHANNA BECHLER CLAYTON. an undivided onp- fourth
intest each, as th it s919 and sg@parat property
to se to the City of Anaheim the follow described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 53.00 feet, as measured
at right angles to the center line of Knott Street,
formerly known as Knott Avenue, of that portion of the
Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 22, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as said
section is shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 22; thence West 462.00 feet;
thence North to the North line of said Section 22; thence
East along said North line to the Southwesterly line of
the right of way of the Los Angeles Inter -Urban Railway;
thence Southeasterly along said Southwesterly line of
said right of way to the point of intersection of the
same with the East line of said Section 22; thence
South to the point of beginning.
For the purpose of this description, the center line
of Knott Street is assumed to be the Easterly line of
the above described parcel of land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
