A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DAVID J. MUCKENTHALER, a
single man, RONALD S. MUCKENTHALER, a single man, NORBERT V.
MUCKENTHALER, a single man, and RICHARD L. MUCKENTHALER, a
married man, as his sole and separate property, to sell to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes,
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 2 in Block K of
the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 2, said
Southwest corner being the intersection of the center
lines of Miller Street and Anaheim Road; thence
Easterly along the center line of Anaheim Road 330.00
feet; thence Northerly at right angles to said center
line, to the intersection with a line that is parallel
with and distant 45.00 feet North of said center line;
thence Westerly along said parallel line a distance of
259.95 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Northeasterly, said curve having a radius of 25.00
feet; thence Westerly and Northwesterly along said curve,
an arc distance of 39.29 feet to the intersection with
a line tangent to said curve, said line being parallel
with and distant 45.00 feet East of the West line of
said Lot 2, said West line being the center line of
Miller Street; thence Westerly at right angles
to said parallel line a distance of 45.00 feet to the
intersection with said center line of Miller Street;
thence Southerly along the center line of Miller Street
to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
