63-0411WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, a Kansas Corporation, has tendered to the City of
Anaheim a license agreement dated March 1, 1963, granting
to the City of Anaheim, subject to the terms, conditions and
covenants therein contained, a license to use the land owned
by said Railway Company situated at or near Anaheim, Calif-
ornia, outlined in red coloring on the print numbered L- 3- 25678,
dated February 19, 1963, marked "Exhibit A," attached to and
made a part of said license agreement dated March 1, 1963,
for the installation of a 33" reinforced concrete pipe storm
drain, said license being a right of entry onto said land
pending issuance of easement.
WHEREAS, said license agreement has this day been
submitted to the City Council for consideration and the City
Council does find and determine that it would be for the
benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter
into said license agreement with the said Railway Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the License Agreement dated
March 1, 1963, tendered to the City of Anaheim by the Atchison,
Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, a Kansas Corporation,
granting to the City of Anaheim, but subject to the terms,
covenants and conditions therein contained, a license to
use the land owned by said Railway Company, situated at or
near Anaheim, California, outlined in red coloring on the
print numbered L -3- 25678, dated February 19, 1963, marked
"Exhibit A," attached to and made a part of said license
agreement for the installation of a 33" reinforced concrete
pipe storm drain, said license being a right of entry onto
said land pending issuance of easement, be, and the same is
hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
agreement above mentioned for and on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
