A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municip.:1 purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
„public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of W. H. JEWETT and
WINNETTA N. JEWETT, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
Public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lots
Four (4) and Five (5) of Tract No. 71, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 10, page 22
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
The Westerly 53.00 feet (as measured from the
center line of State College Boulevard, formerly
known as Placentia Avenue) of the Northerly
215.43 feet of Lot Four (4) and the Southerly
113.05 feet of Lot Five (5) of said Tract
No. 71.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 55.00 feet
of the Southerly 106.05 feet of Lot Five
(5) of said Tract No. 71.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of May 19 63
