desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municip;1 purposes, to wit: An easement for the
installation and maintenance of a water line

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF
A WATER LINE.
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of M. H. GIFFORD and
MILDRED I. GIFFORD, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for the
installation and maintenance of a water line
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance
of a water line over, under and across the
Northerly 10 feet of the Southerly 473 feet
of the Easterly 52.5 feet of the Westerly 464
feet of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 8,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of May 19 63
