A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF
A WATER LINE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for the
installation and maintenance of a water line
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of BRYAN INDUSTRIAL
PROPERTIES. INC., formerly known as DREAM HOMES, INC.,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for rhP
installation and maintenance of a. water line
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance
of a water line over, under and across a 10 -foot
strip of land lying within the Southwest quarter
of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. M., the center line of said 10 -foot
strip being described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said South-
west quarter of the Southeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter; thence South 89 59' 56"
East, along the center line of Lincoln Avenue,
a distance of 215 feet; thence North 0 40' 22"
West, a distance of 40 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence North 0 40' 22" West, a
distance of 83 feet; thence North 9 17' 20"
East, a distance of 57.78 feet; thence
North 0 36' 02" West to a point in the South
line of the land conveyed to Halecrest
Development Corporation by deed recorded
May 21, 1962 in Book 6115, page 758 of
Official Records of Orange County, California,
said point being 223 feet East of the West
line of said land conveyed to Halecrest
Development Corporation.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of May 19 63
