A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND SHERWOOD COUNTY LIGHTING
DISTRICT WITH REFERENCE TO THE PERFORMANCE
OF CERTAIN ACTS BY THE CITY IN CONNECTION
WITH THE MAINTENANCE OF SAID DISTRICT'S
LIGHTING SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the Sherwood County Lighting District has
requested the City of Anaheim to perform certain acts in
connection with the maintenance of said District's lighting
system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is agreeable to per-
forming said acts, more particularly hereinafter described,
for said District; and
WHEREAS, the City and said District desire to
designate the acts to be performed by the City in connection
with the maintenance of said District's lighting system and
to specify the consideration therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day tendered
to the City by Sherwood County Lighting District to be made
and entered into by and between the City and said District,
the terms and conditions of which are as follows:
The City agrees to perform for said District
the following acts for the consideration
hereinafter set forth:
A. Maintain and repair said District lighting
system as required by said District.
B. Furnish materials and parts needed for
emergency works or repairs by said District.
The District agrees to pay the City for any
services rendered or material furnished under said
agreement an amount equal to the cost to the City
of the services and materials. All payments due
the City to be paid within 30 days after billing.
The agreement may be canceled by either party
upon service upon the other of a written notice
of cancellation. Cancellation to take effect
60 days after the service of notice.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
