A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter
into an escrow with SANTA ANA STREET WATER COMPANY at United
California Bank, Anaheim Office, for the purchase of the
hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes;
and
WHEREAS, said United California Bank is now ready
to close said escrow, and a deed has been prepared conveying
said property to the City of Anaheim free and clear of all
encumbrances except the second half of all general and special
taxes for the fiscal year 1962 -63, and all covenants, condi-
tions, restrictions, reservations, rights, rights of way and
easements of record.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:
Parcel No. 1.
Lot 23 of Tract No. 3392, as per map recorded
in Book 126, Pages 13, 14 and 15 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County.
EXCEPTING all oil, gas and minerals lying
below a depth of 500 feet, but without the
right of surface entry to take, market,
mine, remove and drill for same, as reserved
in the deed from Alvin S. Barnett recorded
August 7, 1959 in Book 4830, Page 137 of
Official Records.
Parcel No. 2.
An easement for irrigation pipe line purposes
over the Easterly 5.00 feet of Lots 24, 25 and
26 of Tract No. 3392, as per map recorded in
Book 126, Pages 13, 14 and 15 of Miscellaneous
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County.
to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances,
except as hereinabove set forth be, and the same is hereby,
accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be,
and it is hereby, authorized to deliver to said Vendor the
amount of the purchase price of said property, heretofore

deposited in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have
been met and complied with.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 23rd day of April, 1963...
