63-0324A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municip:1 purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
RESOLUTION NO. 63R -324
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of GIOVANNI CASELLA and
ANNETTA CASELLA, husband and wife,
to sell to the iIof Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot 7 in Block 5 of the Golden
State Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, pages
66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Anaheim Road
and Dowling Street as shown on said Golden State Tract and
running thence Southwesterly along the center line of said
Anaheim Road to a point on a line parallel to and 203.00
feet Southwesterly of the center line of said Dowling Street
and running thence Northwesterly along last mentioned paral-
lel line to a point on a line parallel to and 45 feet North-
westerly of the center line of Anaheim Road as measured at
right angles; thence Northeasterly parallel to the center
line of said Anaheim Road and 45 feet Northwesterly as
measured at right angles, for a distance of 125 feet, more
or less, to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the
Northwest and having a radius of 25 feet; thence Easterly
and Northerly along said curve to a point of tangency with a
line parallel to and 53 feet Southwesterly of the center line
of said Dowling Street as measured at right angles; thence
Northwesterly and parallel to said Dowling Street 125 feet,
more or less, to a point on a line parallel to and 195.00 feet
Northwesterly of the center line of Anaheim Road; thence North-
easterly along last mentioned parallel line 53 feet, more or
less, to the center line of said Dowling Street; thence South-
easterly along said center line of Dowling Street 195.00 feet
to the point of beginning;

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
